Heaven Scent's brand and marketing agency reached out to us to create an entire collection of images for the new brand they'd created for their client. The brand change is intended to emphasize their move from a luxury candle company to a suite of home fragrance and body care products with a target of increasing their already existing wholesale market presence throughout the US.

Collaborating to create all the photo elements of the new brand ensured a cohesive final product. This shoot encompassed product photography, lifestyle photography and portraiture with models from Voices& as well as, Lori Jamison, the actual business owner. The brand celebrates diversity and natural beauty - reflected in the choice to only use very light retouching in the final images.

BRAND VISION

You know you nailed the vision when the Art Director is jumping up and down on set. Sometimes I wish I were better at breaking my focus to catch those spontaneous behind-the-scenes dance breaks that happen when everyone is in their element, having a blast doing what they love most. The on-set vibe was a testament to all the hard prep work we'd put in in advance of the shoot and the collaborative tone I love to create for each shoot. With the Art Director, two trusty assistants, two fabulous models, the talented MUA, and the business owner all on hand, it was a dream team bringing our vision to life. As we moved through the extensive shot list throughout the shoot, it was great to have confirmation of her vision and the client's aesthetic in real time.
