VS Services is a full-service trucking company offering a variety of warehousing and trucking services. Our client, the architect, was commissioned to design a new headquarters in Kansas City, Kansas, to house all their specialty trucking and storage needs. The new building provides nearly 37,000 square feet of space that includes truck dispatching, training, an employee break area, and secure warehouse palletized storage. We scheduled a perfectly timed shoot to ensure the harshest sunlight of the day wasn't flooding in the new main windows of the office during our shoot. Special attention was taken to capture details like the waterfall counter, marble backsplash and tv lounge nook. Capturing movement through the glassed in conference room was important to ensure we gave the images a multi-dimensional feel, something that can easily get lost when photographing glassed in spaces. The architect, construction company and architect's client were all pleased with the final images and each licensed multiple images.
