Professional headshots are scary for so many clients I’ve encountered. Most people aren’t used to being in front of the camera. Being the center of attention is really difficult for them. Even powerful CEOs and executives can get shy in front of the camera. The key is to channel your confidence from an area of life where you have an abundance of experience. That and a fair bit of advanced planning. Our team includes advisors for wardrobe, hair, makeup and an assistant if needed. Each step of the process is important to ensuring everything comes together quickly and effortlessly.

I’ve worked with the team at The Fontaine and especially Jenna Phillips for numerous events. Photographing her team was a great way to actually get to speak with her for more than a few quick emails arranging events and taking care of clients. I love building long-term relationships with my clients. When you’re both so busy, the easiest way to get to have a conversation sometimes is just to make it happen with a portrait session.
