Portraits in the City at Museum at Prairiefire
First thing in the morning the sun peeks over the tall grasses and gives a bit of a glow to everything it touches. In the fall the grasses and trees glow in oranges and yellows. In the summer, everything is green and lush. There’s no way to tell you’re taking portraits in the city, surrounded by buildings and hustle and bustle.
I can’t believe we were ready for Ben’s one year session already. The Baby’s First Year Portrait Package is such a great way to capture every milestone throughout the first year of their little lives. The Museum at Prairiefire has a great outdoor space just to the northwest of the building. A winding path through tall grasses is a short walk, but a fun one with plenty of opportunities along the way for photo ops and to stop and explore. It’s a great little hidden gem within the city in south KC. A tiny stream runs through the park space, but there is an easy way around to the small clearing. It’s like a secret hidden garden.
We were so lucky that Ben’s grandma and granddad were able to join us for his little session. Grandparent relationships are so special. Those photos always hit a little differently.
