The only way we could all leave was because we knew we'd see each other again in a month and a half in Kansas City.

Weddings at The Hobbs always have beautiful light. The staff's attention to detail and impeccable service is everything you could ask for from a venue. Kelly's perfect sense of style shone throughout the day from the glittering variety of bridesmaids' dresses to her jewelry and the table decor. With linens and extras from Ultrapom Event Rental and delicious goodies from Dolce Bakery and so much more. They even had a special little cake in honor of their dog, Dolly.
Laura and Gage’s Journey Home wedding was a breath of fresh air. There were so many sweet moments for two of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. The day was sunny and light, without any rain, which was almost a miracle in the middle of weeks of storms.
The farm fresh air and the happy family and friends surrounding them were exactly what they'd wanted. Almost all of the bridal party and families were able to stay the weekend at the farmhouse for the weekend. Laura really wanted to have everyone closeby to celebrate the whole weekend.
Laura's stunning carefree style brought in wildflowers a sheer-backed dress and a simple elegance to the day as she walked down the aisle barefoot to say "I do."
Nicole & Adam’s Intimate Rooftop Elopement - A gorgeous little affair atop The Rieger Hotel. Cozy gatherings with just a handful of favorite people are some of my absolute favorites to photograph, especially when they are in such an amazing location. The bride was stunning, the groom dapper and the venue perfect.
The whole little event happened in an old building called the Reiger Hotel that was converted to a suite of amazing rooms listed on Air B&B. It sits atop the the Reiger restaurant and Manifesto in the basement - a new-age version of an old speak-easy. Every aspect of the "hotel" is perfect, from the decor to the rooftop patios, the breezeway patio off the main bedroom, the perfect furnishings and decor... not to mention the epicly huge bathroom with amazing tile and closets as far as the eye can see.
When we first met, Katie told me she was a florist and I instantly knew there would be amazing details and flowers everywhere. James P. Davis Hall at Wyandotte County Lake Park may not have ever looked so good.
Mercifully, it rained the morning of the wedding, cooling down the air from the 100 degree mark. The ladies were all lounging in their robes at the amazing Raphael Hotel just off of the Plaza in Kansas City.
Katie’s bouquet was amazing with roses, peonies, dahlias, succulents her friends at Sideline's Custom Floral created. Then her grandmother’s brooches push it right over the top and into breathtaking. Katie was stunning from her lace dress. her sister

helped her dress, Katie stopped in front of the mirror on her way out, turning to one side and then the other she slowly smiled and then stated, “I look fabulous!” and then giggled. She was right.

Chelcie & Troy were married at KSU Gardens in Manhattan, Kansas on a somewhat rainy June day. I love how cute these two are together and their mutual love of art and all things beautiful. I was absolutely enamored with the amazing boho style garden wedding and the amazing floral display at the reception. From the bride's flower crown to the tiered floral displays with vintage books, it was all perfect and amazing.
Chelcie & Troy’s wedding was published in theKnot's 50 weddings from 50 states in 2015. Hear about the wedding from the bride's perspective on theknot. The wedding will also be published in the upcoming issue of TheKnot magazine.

Larkspur, just south of Denver is at a sweet spot out in the countryside. These two are such an amazing couple, they are genuinely sweet to everyone.
And so ambitious! In the spring they set off on their bicycles to tour South America together for months. Being in the outdoors and having adventures together is their thing. Their list of accomplishments is amazing. To show their devotion to the outdoorsy life and their love of the Colorado scenery, they included everything bicycles in their wedding. I really love how they made it their own. The groom and his groomsmen rode their bicycles up the hill to the ceremony site to meet the bride and the guests.
Check out their engagement photos here. We also covered their amazing bicycle themed
rehearsal dinner held garden party style at Steve’s parents house. Everyone piled happily into the house, sitting elbow to elbow, chatting up a storm while they ate.

I love it when couples refer me to their friends. Joy and Mike were a fabulous referral from Erica & Chris. Erica went to art school with Joy and was even a bridesmaid in Joy’s wedding. (I also shot their friend Jenna's wedding at Meadows at Marshdale!)
Mike and Joy REALLY wanted an outdoor wedding surrounded by the beautiful Colorado scenery. They found the perfect place for them in Lionscrest Manor. When it started raining before the ceremony was supposed to start, everyone was a bit worried. We checked and rechecked radar apps and crossed our fingers. Joy’s chose to delay the ceremony a bit to ensure they could be married outside. When the clouds parted and the skies cleared, the ladies cheered.
Joy put together so many amazing details, even creating the custom bunting herself. The ribbon streamers were also a little diy wedding project I recommended to Joy. Her mom wanted to help out and sparklers aren't really a good idea in the Colorado mountains, so why not ribbon streamers for her grand exit?!
Kudos to Mike for finding an amazing, vintage engagement ring from Erstwhile Jewelry that fit Joy's style perfectly.
