I recently photographed an absolutely fabulous wedding in Colorado Springs. Kristi and Scott are a fabulous couple. When I first met Kristi we had a long conversation that started out about the wedding, but then we just ended up talking about life and all kinds of other things. I feel so lucky that I get along so well with all of my clients. I’ve had so many truly wonderful people to work with… but back on subject. A colleague of mine, Jonathan, was on hand to second shoot for me and help manage the lighting situations throughout the day. The photos later in this post that show the groom and his men hanging out were all shot by Jonathan while I was photographing the girls. Thanks so much Jonathan for your endless help that day! Kristi chose pink as her colors, they just happen to contrast beautifully with the yellow walls at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. I’ll be posting more from the rest of the wedding over the next few days so stayed tuned!
A toast to Kristi and Scott!
The garter belonged to Kristi’s great-grandmother. So special!
Her sister and bridesmaids were on hand to help her get ready.
I am in love with these pink shoes!
The guys were hanging out at a nearby building, playing pool and shooting the breeze. The following photos of the guys are all by my second shooter, Jonathan.
