Annie and Jimmy were married in a destination wedding at the beginning of June in West Virginia. It was the place where Jimmy first took Annie, to explore the beautiful mountains, see the amazing scenery and to meet his parents. This is the story of the day before the wedding. The boys played golf in the morning and then all of their friends and family gathered at the boathouse for the rehearsal and the dinner. There are so many beautiful moments between Jimmy and Annie, Jimmy’s nephew Zach and between all of their family….and the light was pretty amazing too. I love how destination weddings really help me get to know everyone at the wedding before the ceremony even takes place. In this case, I already knew one side of the family. The groom is my husband’s cousin. I’ve done plenty of destination weddings in the past, but I completely nervous about this one. It was the first I’d done for family. Let me know how you think I did. :) Be sure to come back tomorrow for the getting ready and ceremony photos… then Saturday will be the portraits and reception!
Once you’ve perused this gallery, head on over to the next installment, the ceremony.
P.S. If you know me well enough, see if you can spot my husband.
