Joy and Mike are quite the creative couple. She’s working toward becoming and art teacher, he’s a web development/software designer. They came to me asking for help coordinating their wedding next year so to time the light just right for the ceremony. I’m so excited to get to work with these two! Their dedication to awesome photos is something we only dream about. (and besides that, they are a ton of fun… if you couldn’t tell from the photos! :)

Errin & Dave are getting married today at Wild Horse Inn! I’m so happy I get to work with these two lovebirds. Errin’s family has a cabin in Grand Lake and used to live in Parker, so she and Dave decided to hold there wedding at a place that meant a lot to them. Wild Horse Inn is one of my favorite places to shoot a wedding…the gorgeous scenery, the beautiful tent, (and they have amazing food). Check out the last wedding I shot at Wild Horse Inn here. Congrats you two!

Jenna and Adam are so cute together. They met while working at Vans – he was her manager (oops!) Jenna loves photography and is actually the photo teacher at Columbine High School! I love photo loving clients and I love referrals! They are a combination of both! Jenna was referred by Erica whose wedding was at the Denver Botanic Gardens – Chatfield last May. Jenna and Erica worked together at a local camera store. I’m so honored that so many of my clients have photo or art backgrounds. They must see something they like! :) They’ll be getting married next summer at the Meadows at Marshdale in Evergreen. It looks gorgeous, so I’m excited to get the chance to shoot there.

Enjoy this handful of shots from their mini engagement session here in Denver.

Whitney and Michael are getting married at Lory State Park in Fort Collins in September. It was a little tense there for a while with all of the fires. The Ft. Collins fire reached the ridge just over the gorgeous valley where Whitney and Michael are going to get married. Thankfully, firefighters were able to stop it before it spread through more houses and the rest of the park. We did their mini engagement session at a Ft. Collins park with a beautiful lake right after their walkthrough at the ceremony site. We had a great time, except for those few pesky mosquitos!

Tina & Jake are getting married today in Littleton at one of my favorite places to shoot! But first, here are a few photos from our mini engagement session at McKay Lake a few weeks ago. I LOVE Tina’s blue dress and necklace. Notice how they are both wearing blue, but aren’t too matchy, matchy? Love it. Tina was pretty nervous; she doesn’t like being the center of attention. Jake is a complete clown and we had Tina laughing through the whole session (with only a few eye rolls). Congrats you two! I’m so happy for you!

Jake broke out the blue steel…this seems to be a favorite lately. :)
